Fitbit Flex
We posted about the Jawbone UP a while ago, and had really high hopes for it. Unfortunately, they had quality control problems and voluntarily recalled them, and have yet to get their act together. Filling up the void left by the UP, the Fitbit Flex has come along and has upped (we couldn't resist) the standard for the personal fitness tracker. It should go without saying that it syncs up through a proprietary app to your iOS device (or select Android devices) to track things like: steps taken, calories burned, active minutes, hours of sleep and quality of sleep. You can even set an internal alarm and have it gently vibrate you awake. It comes in multiple colours, and can be pre-ordered for $99 here.
