We are constantly looking for a nice pair of lounging pants...and it seems as though when the ones we have been sporting become a little long in the tooth, we come across an even greater find. And when we say lounge pants, we don't mean some shapeless sweats that you'd be embarrassed to answer the door in. We mean something a little more refined, and little more sophisticated, and a little more tailored. These then become the perfect pant for a weekend run to the coffee shop, or a comfortable alternative to trousers for a plane trip. In what we can only describe as serendipitous timing, we came across Toronto based founder and designer Matthew Davies, who is on the precipice of dropping on the world what could only be described as a semi-formal casual lounge pant. With that afore mentioned tailored silhouette, and options in an addtition to the standard drawstring such as a button fly, these pants are as at home being paired with a blazer and loafers as they are with a t-shirt and sneakers.
