We've said it before and we'll say it again; the Rolling Stones were the original prototype for what we now know as the modern rocker. It was Keith and Mick that decided to turn blues into Rock 'n' Roll for the masses. The drugs, the women, the arena tours, the fashion, etc...the Stones did it all first. For years now, their storied career has needed a truly excellent documentary treatment, and it seems that this fall, our wishes are finally coming true. In part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, the Stones give us "Crossfire Hurricane," a rock doc that luckily for us, features some never before seen footage spanning the bands career. If it's anything like the bios we have read, it should prove to be epically entertaining. On October 18th the film will be streamed simultaneously to 250 cinemas worldwide, and should be released theatrically shortly after.
