Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

The Porsche Panamera is a very polarizing car...and for a number of reasons. Much like the Cayenne before, the Panamera has Porsche purists fuming that that mark would stray from the sports car, and dabble in the sedan and SUV markets. Also, the Porsche Panamera has an interesting visual appearance, in that it is woefully ugly. Despite it's prowess on the road, we'd have a hard time finding ourselves in a dealership actually considering purchasing one. That was true until we got out eyes on the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo. Basically perfecting the proportions, something that was also done to the Cayenne for its second generation, and making it more a 4 door hatch rather than a coupe (or shooting brake if you will), the car resembles the original iteration but with a far less soft appearance, and far more practicality. On top of all that, it's a hybrid, meaning it should be economical to operate as well. After all, you just blew a $100 g's on a car, so mileage will be at the forefront of your mind. Now, the car is just a concept at this stage, but reaction has been swift and positive. It also helps that the one pictured above drove on to the car show stage under it's own power, meaning it's much more than just a design concept. Check out some killer picks after the jump. Of note, photo courtesy of Jalopnik.
