Marshall Hanwell Hi-Fi Speaker

Forget everything we've said regarding various iPod or table top audio systems...because as of this moment it is all moot. To celebrate the amplifiers 50th anniversary, and on the back of the success of their headphone brand, Marshall decided to celebrate by dipping their toe in an already over crowded pool. There is nothing earth shattering about the tech inside...but that doesn't matter all that much to us. It's the iconic presence of the classic Marshall amplifier that we are dying to plug our iPod into. In true rock'n'roll style, Marshall debuted their new speaker in legendary Hansa studios, birthplace to such albums as David Bowie's "Heroes," Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life," and U2's "Achtung Baby." No word yet on pricing, but it is expected to hit stores sometime in November.
