Lapka Environmental Monitors
Keeping in the theme of the future being now (see post below this one) we give you a new iPhone peripheral that turns the iPhone into a tricorder (Star Trek reference for the uninitiated). Plug in the sensors, and you can monitor things like temperature and humidity, airborne radiation, electromagnetic feedback and even the nitrates in raw food. It also doesn't hurt that they look as good as they do, especially with the addition of unpolished Sapelle. No word on a release date yet, but they are in the final stages of production and are expected to available in late 2012...coincidentally in time for the holidays. More info available here.
