Tesco Virtual Supermarket
We love things that serve multiple purposes...and that is why we think this is a capital idea. The premise is this; in a subway station in Seoul, Korea, the supermarket chain Tesco set up a virtual grocery store stocked with commonly purchased products on the divider used to keep commuters from hurling themselves in front of moving trains (not sure why that's a thing in Korea but apparently it is). Taking your smartphone's camera, one reads the QR code to purchase products, which are then delivered to ones home during the day. We don't know about you, but we make trips to the grocery store almost daily for those essentials that we ran out of in the prior evening, and it sure would be nice to come home to them waiting for us instead. What do you think...good idea?
