Alexander McQueen - Savage Beauty

We were going to post the cover image from the beautiful coffee table book come fashion retrospective "Savage Beauty," but thought this image was just too damn pretty to overlook. If you even have the slightest interest in fashion, this book is the absolute and definitive reference from the McQueen era. If you're not interested in fashion, the images themselves stand on their own...and it would look really cool on the back of the toilet. This tome is to accompany what is the Costume Institute via the Metropolitan Museum of Art Alexander McQueen retrospective aptly titled "Savage Beauty," and in addition to the obviously stunning images, there are quotes from the designer himself as well as some insight into how his inspiration worked; like how a green sweater Joey was wearing on "Friends" inspired an aspect of a collection.
