Prometheus Teaser

This was originally supposed to be a direct prequel to the 1979 movie classic "Alien," but things changed and it now somewhat stands on its own. We say somewhat, but we're told the alien in this film bears a striking resemblance to the original xenomorph, and that although not related to the Alien franchise, the story builds on mythology within the Alien universe. Directed by Ridley Scoot, it's bound to be visual candy, and have some fantastic action. Not to give the plot away (that's been done in its entirety on Geek Tyrant) but the story revolves on the exploration of an advanced extraterrestrial civilization that is responsible for the human race on earth.It stars most notably Guy Pearce, Charlize Theron, and the man of the moment, Michael Fassbender.
