Myojo Pendant
Masanori Oji is one of Japan's leading product designers after having transitioned from a former architectural career. We've been familiar with his previous works in simple, streamlined pieces such bottle openers, benches and cups but the latest to catch our attention is the lighting. The Myojo pendant is Oji's collaboration with one of Japan's oldest metal ware manufacturers, Futagami. Brass, bronze and tin have been made in this factory for over a century and one of the latest products is a crude casting textured pendant in brass with a simple faceted design. Available here.
