Created exclusively for Design Within Reach, the Ascalon Menorah is the brainchild of well known designer Brad Ascalon. Carrying on a family tradition in menorah designs, this one is crafted in solid Carrara marble and is undeniably modern yet represents thousands of years of tradition. Brad describes it best "The eight facets correspond to the eight days of Chanukah, and the left and right diagonals create an 18 degree angle. In Judaism, 18 is a very important number symbolizing chai, or life".
