The future is now! We are getting ever closer to the event dubbed the singularity...whereas technology gains consciousness. Ray Kurzweil (look him up) says it's 20 years away...but we think we're closer to 5, and we have the proof. How else is the lamp defying logic (and physics for that matter) if we weren't encroaching on some sort of technological event, or "singularity?" Oh...wait. It's just electro magnets.
