This is the kind of book you want to own regardless of the content...beautifully bound, individually adorned, graphically exceptional. It is nice to say though that the content of this book is very much worth it. A historical review of the Maharam brand and family documenting their start as a small company 110 years ago providing fabrics to Broadway through their evolution to the textile design giants they are today. This book is full of well-known collaborations with the design community such as Paul Smith, Bruce Mau and Nike to name a few as well as the famous re-editions of design classics. In collaboration with Lars Muller, Maharam Agenda features and embroidered cover available in 4 designs by Hella Jongerius. More pics after the jump.
