Gerhard Richter - Panorama
In what could only be described as perfect timing, a new beautiful art book for Gerhard Richter titled "Panorama" has just been released to coincide with his show at the Tate Modern in London. (Sidebar; if you've never been to the Tate Modern, it is totally worth the trip. It is one of our favourite places.) The book is full of lush layouts of Mr. Richter's work; from art, to photography, and glass pieces. Our favourites are his trademark photorealistic blur pieces, where Richter uses a photo of his subject and creates a painting, applying a technique that blurs the image. Available at finer book stores everywhere.
