Yes we know that we are following yesterday's food post with another but trust us, this is not solely about tasty morsels. Truth being told we went to this local chocolate shop with one thing in mind and that was to see the fabulous packaging in person. It was just a happy coincidence that the chocolates at BETA 5 were as post worthy as the branding that lured us in the first place. Tucked in an unassuming neighbourhood, this well presented candy kitchen is the love of a well trained chef who makes it his personal goal to produce classic yet minimalist chocolates with the ingredients being able to be traced back to their harvest. As we mentioned, the branding and packaging drove us in and we were not surprised to hear that locals Glasfurd & Walker helped create the identity and print design. Timeless, minimalist and true to the combination of craftsmanship and science, we are not ashamed to say we will be hoarding these paper products for some time. Now for a great combination of tastes, buy the limited Trick or Treat packages or simply try the salted butter caramels. More pics after the jump.
