The Sartorialist

This is perhaps our favourite website...and seeing that we look at probably a hundred different sites regularly, that's saying something. Mr. Scott Schuman, the proprietor and namesake, has been recognized as one of the most influential people in fashion today, and many of the major fashion publications mine his sight for trends and ideas. He has a very keen eye for the fashionably interesting, and uses that eye to take mesmerizing photos of everyday people out about their business. We look at his work daily, and have even dusted off some clothes that were relegated to the rear of our closet having seen it worn in an interesting way by one of his models. We have his book of the same title and use it like a fashion idea bible, scouring its well worn pages for morsels. Suffice to say that if you even moderately enjoy fashion, then you'll love his site. We've posted a short film above by Tyler Manson, that shows Mr. Schuman doing what he does, and discussing how he arrived at leading his visual life.  After hearing him offer some insight to his ethos (opting more for the moment than dwelling on whether it's current enough), we happen to like the site even more.
