There are great Canadian designers out there with many different perspectives, some with a more international aesthetic and others with a distinctively National point of view. Samare from Montreal designs unique pieces of furniture with a very specific reference to our heritage. The Mush! Lounge Chair derives all aspects of it's minimalist design from the shape and material of a dog sleigh including the skis and the raw hide weaving. Curling stools, Mountie inspired seats and Quebecois dyed wool blankets, you can't really get more Canadiana than that.
