Droge & Summers Blend - Two of the Lucky Ones

Pete Droge, the master mind behind this impossibly melodic little ditty, hails from Bainbridge Island in Washington State.  Chances are, you're already familiar with his work. He composed and performed one of the early 90's best upbeat and catchy love songs, "If You Don't Love Me I'll Kill Myself," of the Dumb Dumber soundtrack fame.  Well...he's still around, and even though he hasn't stumbled upon the massive success that he probably deserves, the critics tend to love him, and we're sure it's a living.  This song, another soundtrack loner (Zombieland) is a beautiful, mellow tune replete with just enough guitar picking and slide guitar to have feet and hands in all sorts of musical categories. Suffice to say it at least deserves 3 minutes and 34 seconds of you attention.  Like all music these days, it's available on iTunes.
