Swallowing Your Pride

Sometimes, we all need a little reminder of the important things in life...important being friends, family and loved ones.  We put a lot of effort into cultivating these relationships, but sometimes can put just as much effort into their destruction for silly things such as pride.  For ourselves, we have lost precious time with great friends and family over stupid misunderstandings, and not a day goes by that we don't regret that loss.  The song above is not exactly new (2009) but it's a great song, and every time we hear it we can't help but be reminded that we don't appreciate the ones we love enough. Have a listen, but pay special attention to the lyrics....as Eddie has a way to make you feel that your pride may not be so important after all.  Tomorrow, do yourself a favour and bury the hatchet with someone you've wronged, or that has wronged you, or for whatever reason have let a misunderstanding get in the way of knowing each other better.  It's totally a cliche, but life really is too short.
