It seems appropriate that the city that brought you woolies with Birkenstocks in the 90's is home to the designer and proprietor of this company. Native shoes are the upscale and fashion conscious version of the ubiquitous Croc. By marrying iconic silhouettes from by brands like Vans, Converse and Sperry with lightweight, EVA-foam-injected moulded material, Native has clearly hit a sweet spot in the footwear market. Boring terms like durability, antimicrobial and odour resistant have never been synonymous with savvy style, but thanks to Native Shoes they are now. They come in a wide selection of colours so there really is one to suit everyones taste. They're available widely around the city, but check out Front and Company on Main to try them on. More pics after the break.
