If you're like us and like both meat and bread, especially together, then you must make your way to Meat & Bread in Gastown.  The room itself is an exercise in perfection with an old world, man made style.  Replete with plenty of wood, steel, taxidermy and a vintage heavy bag and gloves hanging in the back, the room exudes the world our grandparents grew up in.  With menu items like Fraser Valley veal breast with cabbage slaw and pea shoots or the in-house roasted porchetta complete with crackling and house made mustard, you'll have a hard time deciding what you want for lunch.  Do what we did, take a friend and share it all.
